Etching Days

Experience an introduction to the delights of copper plate etching on this half day taster course. I’m so pleased to have been invited to teach at Lawrences Art Studio, Hove in Sussex, bringing etching to an established Print Club.

Art Retreat

Over the autumn equinox 2022, I had an incredible opportunity to take part in an art retreat on the Isle of Skye with fellow artists from the Wilderness Art Collective.

One morning we saw 5 seals on our morning swim, and followed a flock of geese across a mountain range during a day's walking in the hills, then a sea eagle soared above the beach whilst I stopped and painted.

I’m returning with sketchbooks full of views of the craggy backdrops and light-filled seascapes and am making a new series of etchings and monotypes from them.

A series of 8 etchings made from sketchbook drawings are currently inspiring new work being printed in my studio.
