Ashdwown Forest Goyataku

Create nature prints on a textiles! Print your own Tote bag & teatowel with fabric inks and foraged forest materials using the ancient art of ‘Gyotaku’. 
 
This workshop will give you everything you need under the expert guidance  of artist and printmaker Catherine Greenwood. Once you have mastered the art of nature printing, why not team up with a friend and print a table cloth?!  
 
Ink, all equipment  and a Tote bag & Linen Tea towel will be provided for you to print  on. Please do bring your own small sheet or clothing item to print on if time allows.  Items will be dried as quickly as possible and rolled in paper to take home to be fixed with an iron. 
 
Refreshments will be served throughout the day, parking is included in the workshop fee, please bring a packed lunch and wear footwear and clothing suitable for the season. (we will go out on the forest whatever the weather!
