OCT 6th 10.30-4pm Lino printing Forest patterns
Each walk is lead on different routes through the forest exploring its unusual habitat. When possible we will be joined by lead warden Kari who is an expert on the forest wildlife especially birds.
Refreshments and parking are included in the workshop fee.
Please bring a packed lunch or snacks to keep you going and wear footwear and clothing suitable for the season.
We will go out on the forest whatever the weather!

Inspired by nightjars and woodcocks - art walk
Inspired by nightjars and woodcocks, explore the magical Ashdown Forest with artist Catherine Greenwood on this evening Walk, Draw and Print workshop exploring nature through art.
All art equipment will be provided. At the end of the workshop you will have created unique artworks to take home with you.
18:30-21:30 July 1st at the Ashdown Forest Centre, Wych Cross, Sussex.
Tea/ Coffee and snacks will be provided on arrival, please wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing for all weathers.
The workshop will involve some walking along the trails of Ashdown Forest which are uneven, and steep in places so a reasonable level of fitness is required.Catherine Greenwood is a local contemporary artist specialising in Printmaking inspired by walking & drawing. She is a member of @wildernessartcollective whose mission is to bring people into contact with nature through art. We hope to encounter and record nightjars and woodcock in the natural heathland habitat after our printmaking session in which we will use monoprint inks and collage to get familiar with camouflage patterns of feathers and tree bark.
