PRINT CLUB
Love to Print? Print Club is a friendly group set up in West Hoathly at Hoathly Hill Sculpture Studio and occasionally at Green Print Studio garden cabin.
Learn to carve a lino print or extend your skills with multiplate prints or reduction carving. In these you will also be introdcued to other forms of printmaking such as monotype, monoprint, drypoint etching, and gelli plate printing. The location, next date and times will be shared on booking. All abilities welcome.
Regular MONDAYS in term time 12.30-3.30 pm at Hoathly Hill Sculpture Studios unless stated otherwise. (Dates may change so please check and book in) Please ONLY park at Finche Field carpark and walk through the garden to the workshop.
Workshop Details
Everything you need will be provided in the first session to get you started to make a first block approxi15cm x 10cm.
You will have time in between each session to progress your work with your own tools.

Assorted printing paper (copier, thin cartridge, brown paper, Japanese Koso paper)

Bamboo barren/jam jar lid
Clean up rag/blueroll
Extras: bench hook/cutting guard, coloured tissue for chine collé, nori rice glue or diluted PVA/glue stick, paintbrush, plant material (fern- textured leaves without too many seeds) Gelli plate.
PRINT IDEAS: initally 10 cm x 12 cm drawings- to fit on a card/A6 paper
